Hard core topper action

From one extreme to the next, after disastrous attempt to go sailing lack weekend today made up for it.
Last Saturday me and 3 mates ended up in Canadian Canoes under the fourth bridges due to last of the wind, good crack but not quite the fulfilment of my childhood memories.
Today the wind was howling the masts clanging, whitecaps formed on the firth of fourth. We were told it was the highest tide this year! Great sailing even tho we were harbour bound, some moments right on the edge. I think I'm a bit to big for Topper now tho, Laser 3000 here I come.

Back from Paris

Yep I’m back, have been for a few weeks now but I’ve been busy moving, starting my master and dealing with the stupid broadband people. Hopefully it ill settles down soon.

It was a great holiday; I got lost in the metro then toured Paris for 4 days. I then moved on to font, got lost there as well and had a great if a little to wet time hiking and climbing thro the forest to Bois-le-Rio.

Won’t bore you with the details I let the pics tell the story, loads to come.

350D'ers

Big thanks to for featuring me last month

Hey all, I’m moving home on the 10th and have loads of plans.

Scotland

Initial plan is to walk the Larig Ghru, which is twenty eight miles from Braemar to Aviemore. It is a mountain passes which rises up to a high point of two thousand eight hundred feet. It’s flanked on either side by some famous Munros which ill climb. Hopefully this first trip will go well and lead on to a few more(Western Isles, Loch Torridon....).

France

I’ve also booked some mega cheap flights to Paris (£30), I plan to visit some mates over there, see the sights and go boulder in Fontainebleau. Font is a forest and a small town with a classical castle which is about 50km South of Paris. It is probably one of the finest bouldering sites in the world.

Filters

I’ve just invested in the Kood/Cookin P filter system and will be taking this and of course my camera on my adventures, so hopefully I get some great Scottish landscapes and Parisian architecture.
